Closest you get to doing something with EVE on iPad is EVEGate through Safari.

That's right folks, you too can say "Wow! I can't believe I spent $500 on a device I want to play EVE on without knowing that its specifications couldn't run the game at its lowest settings if it tried!"
(though it probably could, I'd rather not - VNC would work far better and give you better graphics.)
But would lag quite badly

Why not just go to your PC in the first place. 
Because you are 10 miles from your computer? You are in another state and cant just install EVE on someone's computer... you are at school/work and want to check in on your manufacturing jobs. . .
If possible copy the entire EVE client you have installed to an USB stick and play it from there. Works perfectly fine, copied my EVE installation to external drive without actually installing, runs with no problems.
